University of Pennsylvania
Apostille Services

Professional apostille, certified translation, and document authentication services — built for Penn students heading abroad after graduation.

Why UPenn Students & Alumni Come to Us

If you are a current student or graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and need your academic documents authenticated for use in a foreign country, a Pennsylvania Apostille is required. Whether you are applying for a work visa, pursuing graduate studies abroad, registering your qualifications with a foreign professional licensing board, or relocating internationally, most foreign governments will not accept your UPenn diploma, transcript, or enrollment verification without official state authentication.

Philadelphia Notary & Apostille specializes in apostille services specifically for University of Pennsylvania students and alumni. We handle the entire process — document review, notarization where required, submission to the Pennsylvania Secretary of State, and certified translation of Penn's Latin-language diplomas — so you can meet your deadlines and move forward with confidence. Our office is conveniently located in Philadelphia, and we also serve UPenn alumni by mail from anywhere in Pennsylvania and across the United States.

Our UPenn Apostille Process

We offer two professional pathways to apostille your academic documents, depending on your destination country’s requirements and your school’s policies. Both options result in a valid apostille, but the method used will depend on whether a certified true copy is acceptable or if the documents must be notarized directly by the issuing institution.

Official Transcripts

Contact the Bucks County Register of Wills in Doylestown—both in-person and mail-in requests are accepted. Bucks County maintains two separate documents: the marriage license application and the marriage certificate, which cannot be combined. Each document requires its own apostille, so if both are needed, they will be processed as part of one package with two separate apostilles.
